I'm after a softbox for my Yongnuo 565EX and would like one that holds the flash on a bracket rather than the strap on Lastolite types. I would like something under £100 hopefully and quite light and portable with upgradeable diffusers if possible.

Is this the right way to go for softboxes for flashes or would an umbrella be better.

Are they pretty sturdy Russ, I had looked at these but was not sure of the quality. I have a tripod adapter on the way as I do not want to get a stand yet until I build up my flash collection.

Does this model have a double diffuser and how strong is the bracket.

I have used it out side in strong(ish) winds and it performs well. On a tripod it would be rock solid.

The one i bought came with a clip on inner diffuser and a Velcro outer.

The Mount is made from metal and it strong.

At about a quarter of the price of the lastolite equivalent its worth a punt.

Thanks Russ sounds perfect, good to hear it performs well. That was the main point for me. I know what is on my shopping list now then.
