Bowens Light Stands

Hi,

Can the bowens light stands that come in the light kits be used as a background support for say fabric or paper. ie can you buy a pole or bar to go on the top between two stands?

Yep, just get the Manfrotto telescopic background pole thingy. It then sits on any normal light stand, though be wary of cheaper light weight stands, as they may not hold the weight.
