Boring compatibility question

Hi All,

Really boring question but can't find an answer online through normal channels...

So, does anyone know if a vivitar 280hv (if that is right..) is compatible with a Nikon D80? If not I have to hire a different flash...

Basically.... if it's an old(er) flashgun and a new(er) camera I wouldn't use it.

Try this for a more concise but by no means complete list.

If the trigger voltage is above 6v then the rule of thumb is DON'T
