All, as the topic suggests, I am bored in the evenings at home and I want to take some pics in the evenings (get home around 7pm, so not really an option to go outside). However I am coming up short on the ideas of what to shoot.

Anyone got any ideas? FlickR streams for ideas? Articles? Anything?

Your garden and what are your plans that you are going to do with it this year, a bit like before and after.

not a huge fan of water drops, but may as well give it a go. However really like the smoke... Thanks :D

Make yourself a cheap DIY light tent like one HERE and find things around the house to photograph. Pop down to your local DIY store and grab yourself a couple of worklights for around a tenner each and you could have hours of fun without leaving home.

try some still life (fruit / vegetables etc) under differing lights, see what works and what doesn't. basically anything you photograph you can learn from.

i'm still waiting for my "miniture model railway figures" to arrive so i can have some fun shooting these !! :)
