Week 1 - Lines and Angles

Lines and Angles.jpg

I hope there are sufficient lines and angles here for the group.

Yep - another Jigsaw Hell shot working well :)

Good one. Meets the theme for the week, think you have enough lines and angles

I think that there are just enough lines and angles in the shot to satisfy...

Nicely done Paul. The tight composition and use of black & white really makes the shot.

Like the B&W on that, gives it a sense of atmosphere.

Nice gritty image plenty of angles and lines.

I like the tightness, how full the frame is.

Thanks all! Glad the team have had their fill of Lines and Angles.

Smashed it as usual Paul

Week 2 - Rust and Decay

When I saw this theme I knew where I wanted to go, I just had to wait for some half decent weather. Today was that day, and very enjoyable it was.

Nature is slowly, but surely reclaiming its own.

Nice find and well captured.
What vehicle is it?

Thanks Tim!

Sorry, no real idea. The internet says that there was a plate identifying it as a military (RAF?) Radio vehicle type 316 mk 3 December 1960, but I couldn't see that plate.

Oh yeah, that's decay!. Nice spot, and the colours look great.

This is the kind of shot I’d hoped to find but couldn’t think of anywhere! Love it.

Just the job for the theme, been there a while

That’s a good find Paul and perfect for the theme.

Really nice shot excellent find

Many thanks all! I was pleased by how it turned out, but more importantly I enjoyed the outing. Today however, rain!

I think this is the perfect picture for the theme, no rusted cars near me to take advantage of!

Spot on. When you know the subject and just hoping for the weather to be kind, it helps.

LOL, wouldn't want to be changing that tire. Great capture.

Week 3 - Windows and Doors & Technique - Framing

Now, hopefully we're not going to get too picky about dictionary definitions!

Once more, when I saw the theme for the week, I knew where I wanted to go, I just needed a bit of luck with the weather.

Windows and Doors.jpg

Windows and a door leading onto the West Loggia and framing the view beyond.

And a bonus l'oeil de boeuf window to boot.
