The TP 52 - 2025 Boot's 52 for 2025

I really like your abstract shot Paul, and your contrast image really fits the bill.

Week 50 - Past

Ten Past Ten

Ten Past Ten.jpg

Sadly this didn't work quite as well as I had hoped, despite spending quite a bit of effort on it, so it may not be 100% clear.

This is an image of a watch of mine, with another image of the movement superimposed upon it, as if the dial was translucent. Of course, when you turn the watch over, to see the movement, everything is laterally reversed. This would leave the parts of the movement in the wrong places, which might bother some purists - but are there any of those on this forum? So, I laterally flipped the movement image, but that leaves the writing on the movement backwards, so that had to go.

After all of that, and a great deal of other messing about, this is it. It's the best I can do.

That works well Paul. And of course ten past two - it's the law of clock photography :)

Great take on the theme Paul, really creative and well shot.

Week 51 - Reflections in Glass

So, "Reflections in Glass", or "in Glass" reflections, you pays your money, and you takes your choice.

A new (for me) book - Infra-Red Photography by Hugh Milsom.

This has spurred me on to dig out my IR converted camera and wander round a churchyard for half an hour. Although cold, and not an entirely great day for IR, it was quite productive. So, a bit of a shoehorn for the theme!

Some of you may remember the lychgate from an earlier visit.

Nice pic Paul :)

it works though, nice image

Love a bit of shoehorn. Not come across Infra Red as a photographic technique before, interesting.

It's something I have wanted to try, I look forward to seeing more in the coming year.
