Hi guys beginner here,

Basically I think ive reached a stage where I am able to use my camera on full manual settings however, am by no means an expert.

What im looking for is a few books to start my photography library. Im interested in both technical books (specifically lighting as its something i wish to know more about) and photographic art books (my main interedts in this area are portraits and urban architecture)

Are there any classics I should definitely be looking to start with? And do you guys have any particular suggestions of titles?

Any help is much appreciated!

If you have mastered your camera in manual mode I can only recommend Michael Freemans "The Photographers Eye".

Takes some careful reading but contains a a lot of what makes a good photograph once you have mastered focusing and exposure.
