Books on filters

hi

I'm considering buying some filters and would like not only to know which filter to use but why I'm using it , so i thought a book would be the way forward

can anyone recommend one please ?

It might be Lee specific but you could bear that in mind when deciding what to buy. Once you've got the filters you could use the same techniques.
