Just bought new pc and am having difficulty getting the wireless keybord and mouse up and runnung. Instructions say install batteries and switch on, press connect button on the back of computer and then on the keyboard/mouse. On the keyboard the little wireless symbol flashes but wont stay on. Mouse just doesnt work. I'm in the middle of the initial set up and now cannot get past the put in a username part as it obviously needs keyboard....any suggestions to what problem could be.

right reboot system and whilst its booting back up press the button on your dongle or reciever and then on the keyboard windows should detect this as new hardware and thats it hopefully

Thanks for answering so fast guys I switched off at moniter and booted it back up pressed connect button on pc and on keyboard and it is now working however mouse not working still, luckily pc is all in one so has touchpad as well...stumped at mouse. I dont have receiver just connects to wireless on pc as came with pc

Hi what make is your keyboard and mouse

If you do the same again but with the mouse this time, there should be a connect button underneath

As others have said, you need to connect the keyboard first as you have done and then connect the mouse second. There should be a button underneath the mouse, press this and the receiver button again.

I had this problem at work not so long ago, we ended up downloading the latest software from the net even though a CD came with the PC for the mouse and keyboard.
