Thanks for reminding me to get mine finished! I'm doing one of our holidays this year, and I just spent a few evenings playing with the layout to get what I liked before I started heading towards the final draft. I think most of my pages are custom ones, I just either adapted the template ones or with a few I think I just drew my own for some of them.

Just have a play. You're not comitted to anything until you publish I think anyway.
