No
had a motorbike accident wednesday morning on the way to work (I was going over mini roundabout car pulled out from left junction, add the icy road and I had no chance) it wasn't too serious at hospital I was moved from major to minor within 1 hour and was released same day.

employment agency let me take my accrued holiday with immediate effect so have been off rest of this week and have all of next week off..

I am BORED.. lots of right shoulder, groin and lower back pain that obviously needs rest to heal so I can potter about at best..

what to do?

Go and visit a cranial osteopath.. Not just backs and bones and if you see someone with the word cranial attached to them, I suspect you will get some immediate relief. It's very gentle and I recommend it unreservedly.

I'd go with Steve's suggestion - Breaking Bad and put your feet up.
Or Outlander, Vikings...

:)

If you're on yer own, Redtube, maybe? ;)

Edit to add. Make sure there aren't any kids about!

my [ahem] area does not need any added twitching at the minute so will give that one a miss.. :cautious:

tried BB before and just could not get into it, same with GoT.

Spend your time working out your financial losses, you'll need to know them for your claim

Bought a daily paper to-day and on the front cover a young man lost his life on a motorcycle and my thoughts oh! not another one. Please, please, please never get back on it, you are clearly hurt but alive. For the sake of your family get a car or use the bus. All the best for Christmas.(y)

I'd go with the whole "take it easy, relax and find something to catch up on, on the TV" route.
Don't be afraid to take painkillers to relieve discomfort, and a warm bath with epsom salts can be very effective too.
Let your body try to heal as it likes before even considering anything along the lines of third party manipulation.
And silly as it sounds, keep moving a little; don't let yourself seize up.

Hope you feel better soon. :-)

Life has risks.
Living life taking no risks whatsoever would be incredibly tedious.

But who picks the pieces up and the person who has to break the bad news, then a loved one is lost for ever, ever is a long time.

ex biker chick here, abseiled down cliffs, parascended, rock climbed, and a few more risky things, only broken bones are a smashed elbow, tripped over a chain on someones drive.
I have no bucket list.
Lost more friends to illness then risk taking
Hope you feel better soon strumstrum

The same people who pick up the pieces after a heart attack...or cancer... Or a crashed train/bus.
Life's too short not to be lived fully.

Used them as a tank plough? OUCH!

Hope you're back on your feet and bike before too long and that you get suitable recompense from the SMIDSY ladygarden who caused the fall.

Glad you are okay (so to speak) - could have been a lot worse...

Enjoy your free time - relax, do you have Prime or Netflix ? if not, could be worth trying the free 1 month trial ?

Snooker's on this weekend, Rugby's on tomorrow as well ?

Some reading, fictional novels with some reference of your favourite hobbies.
If you were near I've some old 'Easyriders' mags and 'Back street heroes' that have good items

Sorry to hear you've had an off. Hope you're both ìn better shape quickly.
At least the sun isn't cracking the flags outside taunting you with brilliant riding weather.
As others have said, time for box sets, reading or game console overload.
Or you could do your commercialmas shopping online

Did you hear about the recent plane crash? Will you be boating it from now on? Life is full of risks and if we lived life expecting the worse we would have no life at all .

Biking, you either get it or you don't , if it's in your blood the risks are acceptable regardless of consequences, I've moved on to 400bhp cars but if someone offered me a nice triumph scrambler at silly money I'd be straight back into it.
