I used to think he was really good.. his style was fresh.. After the Eamon Holmes interview I lost all interest.
 
He seems to be missing his egg shield this time. A good subject for any togs in NY too.

Not to mention really stupid, a woman was on the radio a couple of weeks ago, she had lost the vision in the centre of her eyes, after answering some questions the doctor said the probable cause was standing on her head in a Yoga class, she was short sighted, the increased blood pressure had damaged her eyes.

Houdini was an illusionist and escapologist, not a hang upside down, live in an acrylic cage ****.
 
I think he's a fraudster!

He isnt actually hanging upside down for 60hrs all the while he
his lifting himself up to get the blood flow going again.

If he is going to do a stunt like this he could at least do it properly.

Then we could all watch his eyes pop out & wonder if its another
stunt or not :thumbs:
 
I have spent the last 27 years lying in a horizontal position.. I only take 15 hour breaks to earn a crust and eat, then i'm right back at it!.. I have a long way to go to beat the record though.

Well, he certainly isn't a genius.

Now what was the other option?
 
From interviews I've seen with him he's clearly on drugs, so that puts me off him for starters. Also I have seen information detailing how he's done some of his early tricks where he claimed not to use camera tricks, but he basically lied. Technically you could say he didn't but he did intentionally deceive people. His other standard magic tricks are fairly simple to do although he does seem good at doing them, but his stunts are completely nuts. Good fun to watch though! Although I didn't even know he'd started this hanging upside-down stunt. I guess people just aren't interested in him any more. The stunt with holding his breath for however many minutes it was, was far more interesting to watch.
 
I liked his street magic stuff he used to do no matter how he "did it"

But these "stunts" are just stupid. No point at all !!!!!
 
i have forgotten but seem to remember his stuff was quite interesting at the start now however he just pointless, i don't find the living in box hanging upside down interesting or daring tbh just pointless. But if thats what turns him on then who am i get in the way?
