I usually go for F11, ISO 100, Tripod cable release, I watch for the fire works to start then you have an idea where to point your camera then as they are fired open the shutter and keep it open, till they start to fall for a bit then, close the shutter, so it depends on each firework the exposure time anywhere from 5 to 10 secs or even more, you can also use a piece of black card to cover the lens whilst the shutter is open so you can capture a few ( but it can get messy if you have to many)
