Hi,
Having been a long term iPhone user for home and Blackberry user for work I've been watching the build up to the Blackberry OS10 release for some months now. I recently sold my iPhone 5 as it was mainly getting used for nothing more than checking emails and listening to music on both the phone's built in music player and Spotify so I've been keeping a close eye on the new Z10(I'm more interested in the X10 with qwerty keyboard) and wondered what people's thoughts are on it?
Naturally I understand that RIM haven't exactly been keeping up with the likes of IOS and Android, and they have been delaying OS10 by far to long for any such major comeback(as has been reported in just about every other online blog/website etc) but from having an iPhone since 2007 and getting bored of the same old same old, and not seeing anything other than speed bumps and incremental updates to IOS, and not liking Android at all I'm left with Windows phone and OS10 by Blackberry.
Has anyone been brave enough to buy one? I'm with the school of thought of leaving it at least 6 months for any potential hardware/software issues to develop(hey it's brand new unproven tech here unlike OS7.1) and seeing on what they improve on without falling into feeling like a Beta tester like I did with the first iPhone.
Any thought's? My current Bold 9900 is great for my work needs, but I found that as time went on I was using it as my main device and leaving the iPhone 5 setting on the side not doing much as I must be getting old as I've stopped playing games on mobiles now
Mike.
