If the Blackberry is a so called Pro-sumer phone.. how come there is so little support for the Mac!!!!

I got a Storm a couple of days ago, and the software i got for desktop sync ect is PC.. the only bits of S/W for the mac are Pocketmac.. now.. its NOT compatible with the storm! unless you DOWNGRADE to an older software on the phone!!!

C'mon, RIM... get it sorted!!! :bat:
 
I used pocketmac quite successfully with an 8300 and an 8800. But if you have a mac then you should be using an iphone ;) It's sooooooooooo much nicer and the syncing is far betting and more reliable - not just iphone to OS-X but with Outlook under XP as well.
 
but the storm is such a nice phone..

Its taken a couple of days to get to set things how i like them, i just couldnt be living with the battery life of the iphone! i had the N95 8gig.. its a real pain having to charge it EVERY night!.. my old K800i used to last days on end! lol.

Anyway, iv got a bootcamp partision and have installed the sync S/W there..
 
The storm is possibly the worst blackberry in existence (IMHO).

I have recently had a Curve, a Storm, a Bold and an 8800. The storm is by far the slowest to use, buggiest and worst responding.

However, I don't use any of them as my primary phone. For that I have an iphone. Best phone I've ever had.
 
i like it.. the N95 is just as slow if not slower.. i did look at the other Blackberries, but the buttons are too close together for my sausage fingers!! lol..

Theres a new version of the storm out in August, should be much better they say..

My Lad also has "just" got the storm
and it became apparent very quickly that this " soft ware upgrade"
Quite frankly wasn't'!
BTW don't ask me :shrug: this is all I "understood" from the conversation :D

We had a total of 6 in on trial. Each and every one of them was returned to me by the "trialist" and they asked for their old ones back.

We probably won't be trialling the new one.
 
Get an o2 Zest, i love mine. My misses loved mine so much, that she went and got one :lol:
Havent synced them to the PCs yest, CBA to be honest :lol:
 
I had a storm and couldnt believe that it didnt have wifi, I liked the phone but love my new iphone but my old nokia n95 is still king when it comes to functionality.
 
After many consultations with fellow phone users, I've come to the conclusion my next phone will be the iphone. Also means changing network.
