Blackberry auto lock

After pocket dialling my new work phone for the umpteenth time i thought it would be best to enable the automatic lock.

But wait - there isn't one???!!

Really? Any blackberry experts able to advise?

ps i can't use 3rd part apps due to corporate policy... and the phone is a pos-9720

have a word with your IT dept. we had to use a 3rd party app.

BB are horrid. no wonder theyre a dying platform.

Depending on which one it is, holding down the A key locks the keyboard and the top button unlocks. Can't remember how to do the same on the touchscreen ones.

I loved my first one, an 8900. small, light with a great battery (especially after using the nokia n95...). but they have not moved on at all. wouldn't want to be a shareholder.

Hi Nod - as above, was looking for an idiot proof automatic lock.

I'll have a word with IT to see if i can install a 3rd part app. Perhaps i should keep pocket dialling the it manager at 3 AM....
