Black Graduated filter in lightroom?

I love the graduated filter in lightroom2 but there is every color except black and the dark grays. Why is this? Is there a way of getting a black filter?

I've used this a few times so I'm a bit puzzled by your query.

Graduated black is grey, surely?

Or am I missing the point?

I'm not at my Mac, but can't you enter the colour value manually? Failing that Brightness or Exposure should have the same effect as a black filter?

Exposure and Brightness are your Black or Neutral filters. Simply adjust the amount of "Black" you want by reducing the exposure or brightness.

D'oh! I'm such a dumb ass!! I created a filter then while the colour was on default white i changed the brightness and hey presto it went all the way to black!! That's that solved! he he
