Yes
I have just purchased a 430 ex mk2 flash and will hopefully be using this by the start of next week. I have heard about bouncing light off ceiling etc when using flash but i am not sure if this means the camera would have to be held landscape style and not potrait style if you get what i mean. Surely if it was held on it's side the flash would be pointing sideways at subject and not anywhere near the ceiling. Hope this doesn't sound too daft.

not daft at all dude... if you'd like to bounce the flash off a ceiling when you're shooting portrait you can swivel the 430 flash head 'to the right' which will then be pointing up for you :D

Or the left, depending which way you dress....;)

Cheers guys. Not had my hands on this yet so didn't know it swivelled right round.

i just got one of these, and you just depress the locking button the side and twist it right or left.
