I bet this story caused panic in the staff room. Quick mods stock up before its too late :D

Will they raise the price(s) or just take a biccie or 2 out of every pack?

Much as I love the things, especially chocolate hobnobs, I never buy them - precisely because I love them so much that I'd demolish a whole packet given 1/2 a chance! In fact, we very rarely buy any biscuits and only eat what gets left behind at the studio when other teachers run workshops and CBA to clear up properly after themselves.

I've not bought anything made by McVities for donkey's. I can't see the point in paying three times the price of a supermarket brand for something that's almost identical. Now they want to charge more?

I’ll volunteer to take the couple of biccies out of the packs for them :D !!

They've probably already cut the size down.

I'm not very fond of biscuits or chocolate, so I rarely eat either. I do buy Ouma (grandma in Afrikaans) rusks from South Africa. These are for all age groups, not babies, usually eaten with coffee. Wonderful, just a little bit pricey ...

On my ToDo list this week is to make a batch of Anzac Cookies. Mmmm.
As the snake implied, Hobnobs are for the staff, the management prefer cake (Jaffa-type) :exit:

It's all part of The Great Reset so don't panic, it's all for your own good.

5% rise, tesco do more than that fo no reason

I'm stockpiling now, I always do that if there is a shortage or if prices go up.
I am using loads of gas at the moment because I am on a fixed deal and I want to get as much as I can before my unit prices go up
