Birding around Sheffield/Peak Dist?

What birding and wildlife photography opportunities does the Peak District and areas around Sheffield offer? I have a 400mm 2.8 with a 1.4tc, am really looking to photograph some.
Also, are there any bird sanctuaries nearby? I'd like to photograph large birds like owls and birds of prey.

Some great opportunities to shoot birds at Clumber park near worksop, used to go a few years ago. All birds can be tempted with some well placed food. Woodpeckers, Jays, Nuthatch, plenty to shoot. Tip go early or late, its National Trust so it costs a few quid if you get asked. Also has a massive lake with plenty of Herons that feed in the margin. Also nearby are quite a few Buzzards.
