Yes
The detachable concrete bowl of my bird bath has developed a couple of small holes about 2-3mm in diameter. It does have some sentimental value so would like to repair it if possible. I was thinking drilling a slightly larger hole from the underside and then filling. However I'm struggling to find something to use; either the epoxy stuff isn't recommended for continuous contact with water or is toxic for aquatic use

Any suggestions please of suitable products available in small quantities

As it is concrete would a cement mix work well and be wildlife safe?

I had exactly the same and did exactly as you suggested, ie: drill them slightly larger then refilled with mortar mix. although I made it up from sand and cement ( using a desert spoon to get the mix of 3 sand to 1 cement and not make too much) it is possible to by concrete filler ready mixed. As I have visiting kids and my own animals I also put a blob between the base and the bowl just to make it a little safer ( there was no fixing other than gravity) As you will need so little I would sugest asking everone you know if they could give you a cup full of sand and cement)

Thanks for that - as you say may have to ask around as I need so little

Thanks for that but on further research apparently not bird safe. Good call though I didn't know it existed
I really can’t see how waterproof silicone sealant would effect any birds . . The cheapest option though would be a hot melt glue gun stick

I guess the chemicals leach out ? It was an answer to a question on Amazon provided by the manufacturer

How can the chemicals leach out you silicone the inside of a fish tank and it doesn’t effect the fish .. obviously it would have to cure first but it’s then inert under water.. and most modern bird baths are made of plastic to

Have a Google. Lots of sites cover non-toxic repair solutions.

Not in this case they are paint on sealers. I'm looking for something to fill holes with

Fill holes with mortar/cement which you can get in a cartridge then paint on the sealer to make it bird safe?
