After various blue screen japes and joy, I had a BIOME-1 failure on a diagnostic test. Ordered new ram, which arrived wrong yesterday
re-ordered and has arrived this morning all okay. Before installing the new ram I ran another diagnostic memory test and the busturd passed
But the fact that it failed once so the new stuff is going in, just hope that nails the problem of shutdowns etc.
Can failing ram give off all sorts of weird symptoms, like keyboard malfunction slow start up, noisy hard drive not to mention blue screens.
