Yes
So gutted...

I bought it dropped as a project bike (Suzuki TL1000R), I hate to think how much time and effort I've put into it :(

Parked up outside my girlfriends house in Long Lawford, near Rugby in the small hours last night (between 7pm 16th and 5am 17th)

Reg no S871 MFP

Distinguishing stuff...

Weird chip resistant cover on the nose
Blue screen bolts
Ohlins sticker on bottom of forks
Calipers are black 6 pots, with teflon coated ally pistons but one old stainless one
Bright orange wheels
BT021 rear (nearly worn out), BT023 front tyres (nearly new)
left fork leg compression adjuster mullered
Mudguard modified with triangular gauze each side
Stainless lines all round
Cable clutch converted
Residue on top yoke presumably from an old protector
57000ish miles
Rocker switch under left hand switchgear instead of clutch switch
Duct tape round brake lever holding a little spacer in
Ohlins sticker on left hand fairing
Right hand fairing has a chunk missing from the top vent, various cracks, extreme frontmost lug missing so a cable tie linking it to the nose
Airbox flappers removed and holes temporarily covered with duct tape
Blue anodised rearsets (forget the make) - had to drill out rear master cyl lower bolt to fit, so has odd bolts. Odd bolts holding on left rearset too
Unknown undertray
Ohlins rear damper. No seals on top or bottom rose joints
gauge out of swingarm where the rear master cylinder - brake lever bolt was too long
Seat lock a bit rattly and loose
Yoshi RS-3's, right hand side rashed on the front edge
Carbon tank protector
Ohlins steering damper
Black clutch lever, silver brake lever

Any info gratefully recieved, either to me or Warwickshire police quoting reference N11/5926

I feel your pain :( I'll also put it up on my bike forum.

I deal with stolen vehicles at work (Police) and they do often get found so hang in there, you never know.

I was going to suggest blitzing the motoring forums - they're a great bunch and will keep an eye out

one scooby forum is legendary for finding a stolen a few days later - they followed them - took pics of the drivers and then reported it to the police

I did hope you may have news by now, sadly, it may now be in pieces :( Keep an eye out on ebay for specific parts. Don't wait on hearing anything from the police that's for sure. Oh and if you do find parts that you know to be yours, don't expect the police to do anything then either. Just send your 'friends' round to collect said parts for you.

I feel your pain. TLR, lovely bike.....

They must have picked it up & taken it, you don't need an alarm on one of those things because they make so much noise !!

Not many of them about either...

Steve
