Hi

Thanks for all your help on my recent thread - just thought I'd share one of the final pics! Not perfect, and have learned a few lessons for next time. One being I need MORE SPACE!

A nice clear shot, wish i could take shots of that calibre keep it up

Looks great  and hopefully not too much post processing work.

As you say, more space will allow you to move back a bit and stop the front wheel looking so much bigger.

That's a great effort - & this is a significant improvement over the original pictures - You have added some zing...
Only thing I don't like is the the part wheel & tyres in the shadow under the bike - I'd remove them & leave the black shadow.

Thanks all!

Pete - the reflections were requested by the bosses, so had to add those, but yeah, might be cleaner without. But is was the 'enhanced reflection' look they wanted.

Hoppy - no, not too much processing. The vibrancy of the green on this one is pretty much as it was. I used the levels slider to brighten the background, tweaked contrast a touch, painted out the rest of the b/g and removed things like valve caps to get it nice and clean. I did have a few unwanted bits of shine on some which had to go, but nothing too complicated. I used the Burn tool on the very bottom of the tyres to darken that slightly also on these 'reflected' versions.

One edit that was needed in places was on chrome parts, where they picked up the green of the tarpaulin. Very easy with an extra layer and mask though - just painted in a desaturated layer.

The front end is a bit close to the light, but more space will help correct this next time. I'll have more to do in a month or so, so hopefully will get more time to experiment. Was a bit pushed for time on this shoot!
