Bike Roof racks

Hi

Thinking about buying a Thule Aerobar & Proride 591 setup to replace my Halfords rear/boot rack setup.

Anyone have any opinions on it? Will be holding a standard hardtail, no special full sus frames. I don't have a towbar and the boot mounted rack basically stops access to the boot.:razz:

Used Thule roof bike carriers and bars for years, very solid and never had a problem

Beware though in these austere times it will slaughter your mpg and watch out for height barriers

I've had a pair of Proride for a few years now and am very pleased with them. If buying more than one, you can have matching locks/keys. Saves a lot of hassle.

I've got mine on normal bars.

I used to cary to full sussers on the roof of my clio with a similar set up. Never had any problems with it.
