Had a play with my new 10stop filter and was not bothered about composition, I just wanted to see the effect.View attachment 4135
This was without the filter exposure at .25secs

This was 7.5 minutes, polariser also used on both.

Good to see what effect it has on the water, hope it helps others as well.

Looks like I have a stuck, hot pixel about halfway up on left hand side, first time I have noticed it, and it is on the first photo as well, but not so obvious.
Now need to find out what can be done with it.

You'll get hot pixels when doing long exposures, the more exposures you do in a row the hotter the sensor will get and you'll see more. Single pixel noise reduction in your raw editor will sort it out.

Thanks, will check that out.

Its changed the whte balance a lot hasnt it. Much cooler. What make 10 stopper was it?

It has.
I have not tried to match the colours, I will give it a go later on.
