I went to the silverstone today, what an awesome day. absolutely sublime, saw the F1 champion car go around (quite a few times) and was so unprepared for the onslaught of the noise as I was right by the Copse pit exit stand. Excellent.

took a load of pictures as usual, and have to say it has been a fantastic day! thank you very much indeed
 
I was also at Silverstone yesterday. Not really mega happy with the pictures I got but then again I was more a spectator than a tog. I didn't get with in 50mtrs of the track during my entire visit. Well without there being fencing in the way atleast!
 
there were quite a few spots where u can actually go on the track side, when the F1 car was going around and also the oldies did the parade laps. but on most stands or raised viewing area u can get over the fences

i have to say try to catch one of these cars headon before a corner is very difficult
