I will be traveling over to lincolnshire tomorrow hoping to catch some nice planes... If anyones out and about or at a loose end see below ​

VE DAY 80th ANNIVERSARY FLYPAST REHEARSAL.​

28th & 29th APRIL 2025.​

A large formation of military aircraft will form the VE Day 80th Anniversary Flypast on 5th May 2025; rehearsals for this flypast will be held during the period of 28th April 2025 and 29th April 2025. The rehearsals will start in the vicinity of the North Sea adjacent to East Anglia then route via the overhead of RAF Marham, Norfolk and overfly RAF Cranwell and RAF Waddington, Lincolnshire, dispersal will occur over Lincolnshire. RAF Cranwell will represent The Mall and Buckingham Palace.

Following a successful rehearsal, the subsequent rehearsal day will be cancelled by NOTAM.

AREA A – NORTH SEA, SUFFOLK & NORFOLK
11:45 to 14:45 Surface to 10,000 feet


AREA B - CORRIDOR BETWEEN NORTH WEST OF HALESWORTH & MARHAM AD
13:15 to 14:10 Surface to 7000 feet

AREA C - CORRIDOR BETWEEN MARHAM AD & WADDINGTON AD
13:20 to 14:10 Surface to 3000 feet.

Saw a Spitfire with D-Day stripes, flying East from Cheshire/Merseyside this afternoon. Presumably heading to some muster point for the flypast etc..
