So the idea is that I take one album each month, and the photograph that I produce is a representation of my interpretation of that album.

A shot that could be used as the album cover!

So, my first album cover and first of my 12 month challenge. So much starting afresh this year, I really enjoyed doing this! Basically, a few friends and I are taking albums that mean something to us, and then re-shooting the front cover, anywhere from exactly the same to completely our own interpretation.

I've picked Birdy because over the past few months her moving music has really connected with a lot of my own thoughts and feelings. Learning a little bit about her, she's quite inspiring.

Great idea for a 12! Good luck with it.
(I'm planning to start a 12 this year, but not sure if I want to theme it or not, and if I do then I need to pick some themes!)
 
Thats a great idea, and that looks like a credible cover....nice balance between the model's arched back and the tree. :thumbs:

If I had to point out one niggle it would be the slight loss of her heels at the bottom of the frame....like to have seen those in.

I'll watch this one with interest :)

I like this idea, similar to something I was considering but haven't taken up.
