BG-E2n Grip stuck on my 50D

Just tried to take my Grip off and its now permanently stuck on my camera, the big screw wont loosen all the way gets to a point then locks up, luckily i have managed to tighten it back up so its still on the camera [hopefully securly] but its just annoying that i can't take it off now.

Any Ideas?

sound like you might have over tighten it when putting it on and you have jumped the thread
How much of teh thread can you see is there room to get some thin nose pliers in there to turn it that little bit more?

It sounds like you should leave it there permanently or contact Canon service centre.

That's why I avoid grips like a plague.

Looks like all the screws are onthe top of the grip which is between the camerabody and it.

I tend to not tighten it too much but the you can never tell can't remember when i put it on though. I'm gonna wait for my dad to get here as he is better at this stuff then me fingers crossed.

There is now a very thin gap between the grip and the body as i can see light so i don't even think its on there properly damn it.

Last time I had to get one off I ended up using pliers and a knife, got it off with only minimal plastic loss to the actual "screw" part of the grip
