Hi! My name is Benjamin Caparoon with Caparoon Photography.

I have been working on a new website that I would love your help with. I have created a new online portfolio much like OMP and I need beta testers to help me out by using the site while we build it. It is very basic right now but we are adding many new features that no one else currently has to my knowledge but as I said we need people to use it and give us feed back.

The website is http://www.modelmerge.com . Please tell everyone you know about it!

Thanks for your help!

Sincerely,

Benjamin Caparoon

Dunno - the site seems to back-up his story.

Actually I never have posted on this site. But I have posted on many other forums only about photography. You can take a look at my work my work at www.caparoon.com.

As far as is this a commercial venture. Well I gotta be honest I am trying to promote my photography any way I can. So I guess it is. Does www.modelmerge.com bring me in any money no. This is a proof of concept currently. At some point I may not be able to afford the hosting fees if it gets big so there may be something I have to do to offset the cost but right now it is free.

I currently am a member of OMP and Model Mayhem but I wanted a tool that had the features that i wanted to use. Both sites are very good but there could be so much more you could do with them. I have a list of features we are building but I need beta testers for the site.

I would love all of you to join the website and give me your feedback. However, if you think I am spamming then I apologize. I actually thought some people might be interested in the website.

Ah, my bad. We get a lot of it just lately.

we dont mind genuine people, but of late weve had a few spammers, one was a 'model' agency, but after a little look turned out to be 'sex workers', so im a little wary.

Post some of your shots in sharing, let people see what you do, and if people want to look at your site they will do.

welcome along!

Indeed. Glad we didn't get rid of it. The nature of the post is usually indicative of spam, (of which we've had a bit of lately, which naturally has made us wary).

The very fact that you have come back to respond allays our thoughts....so I'm glad we left it here :)

As said, welcome along to the forums, and feel free to have a look round. Enjoy your stay.

Welcome aboard Benjamin :)

Enjoyed browsing though your site, some nice photos on there

Not to keep trying to push the http://www.modelmerge.com website but I have had a lot of visits from this site but no one has created a profile. Is it not something you guys think would be worth while or is it too difficult using?

I'd love for this to be usefull to anyone that was in or even thinking of getting into this industry. Let me know if you have any ideas or feedback.

I'm not a pro so no reason for me to do it, if I were a pro I'd still have a problem, your site is US based I'm UK, not much use to either of us.

Yeah, we put in predefined areas but really anyone could use it. You would just put in your own area.

I would like this tool to be used worldwide. At least that's is my goal anyway.
