Hi, I hope this is the right place to post this and I am not breaking any forum rules. (I am new to all this! If I am, I apologise in advance). Anyway, we are a small UK based software developer. We have developed a new form of portrait enhancement software for photographers called Portrait Professional 8. This has actually been trained in human beauty and works in a rather different way to traditional touch up packages like Photoshop. It is designed to be very easy to use. We are looking for Beta testers for the software

We are just finishing a new version which runs on both PC and Mac, and we are looking for amateur and professional photographers to spend an hour or each beta testing it for us. What we are looking for specifically are people to download the new beta version, use it, and fill in a simple multiple choice form, with a short comments section. We need you to note what you like and don’t like, and where the software causes problems or crashes, so that we can fix it!

There is an incentive for you join our beta test program and complete the feedback for us. You will then be able to buy the release software at a 50% discount. This means you can have the standard version for £17:49 instead of £34:99 or the Advance version (with 16 bit RAW support and enhanced colour support) for £37:49 instead of £74:99.

We believe the software is genuinely fun and easy to use, and you should enjoy the experience, and if you do not you can always simply drop out.

If you are interested contact us at testers@portraitprofessional.com and sign up. We would really appreciate your help, and you would be contributing to a state of the art development in photographic software. Thank you for reading this, and do help us invent the future for photography!

A quick note. This has been approved and OK'd by us :)

I'm going to be giving it a whirl.

I would be interested in seeing what this program is capable of doing. I have not used this software before and I am Mac user.

hi and welcome ot the forums, hope your product takes off
well, perhaps be helpful to see some posts from the people testing it:thumbs:

i use version 6 max and it really is a good product. im definately applying for beta testing on this one.

Email Sent, I'd be more than happy to spend some time testing this for you.

Welcome and have sent you a sign up email

Email sent ......... should do well now it's available for mac

Installed my copy tonight...been using ver6 for a while,i like that,this ver8 has a lot more adjustments..take a bit of gettin used i think..looks ok though

Same question as John Marshall, what's the difference? Do existing users have to pay the full wack?
Oh and.... Why can the program not touch up full length portraits? I often end up with models looking like they have tan lines on their arms!

I got the go ahaed to try this thing out but I cannot get it loaded.

I have tried copying the 'sent' manual activation code but nothing seems to happen when I press activate from clipboard, all I get is 'No Data File'

Any clues as to what I am doing wrong?

that's odd
signed up

Got it working fine after an install issue, one of the reg files wouldn't load. Only had a very quick try so far (as very very busy) it seems to be working fine, can't wait for a proper play with it. Wayne

Heres my first test image. Wayne

It can - you have to select other areas of skin by painting on with the skin select brush.

Have sent an email off, interested to see how this compares to Portraiture by Imagenomic.

Been having a play with this last night, it takes some getting used to, i need to try some different portraits I think. I find the face warping controls pretty much impossible to get something effective tbh, but the skin toning etc. works really well.

Here's an example

Subtle, yet pretty effective I think.

Have sent an email hope im not too late! This software looks very interesting would be nice to have a go at it! Looks very effective!
