Hi I'm sure there must be many of you who have visited and photographed this location ?
So how is the best or easiest way to access Dunstburgh castle ?
1. from the North where do you park or is it best to go to Caster and walk the coastal path from the south please
Any advice would be appreciated answers preferably NOT by postcard thank you !

When I was up there on a photographic holiday the group parked at Caster and walked along the coast.

For a full coastal shot, Embleton golf course car park then a 3 main walk over the dunes.

The main gate to the English Heritage site is in Craster.

I've parked at the end of the road at Dunstan Steads and walked south along the coast from there.

what he said. Don't forget to check the tide times (you want HIGH tide)

The quickest way in is from Embleton but my favourite route (it requires more effort) is to park at Low Newton by the sea (pay and display at top of hill) and walk south along the coast. It's slightly further than the Craster route but far more interesting and less busy. Take in a pint and a ploughmans at the fantastic Ship Inn as well.
