Hello I'm Adrian
I want to start my journey with photography at the beginning of February, but... I need camera.
I was looking around in 100's of shops but finally decide to buy in a secondhand shop. I tried to find one on internet but they got just lenses and my question is this...

Does anyone know names or addresses of the secondhand shops dslr cameras in LONDON

(I want to buy in the shop not on the internet -ebay,amazon etc...)

chris321Thank you for your help. I hope I gonna find something interesting :)

No worries! And don't be worried about browsing the for sale section on here (you're a new member so you can't sell, but you can buy I believe). There are a lot of decent people here, and they have a tenancy to look after their kit too! All the best,

Chris

Hello Friends!!
Sorry to disturb in other thread.
I am planning to buy one for me. I don't have any knowledge about the it.
I think you guys can help me with it.
One more question is it good to buy new one or the secondhand one?
Please help..

Try Aperture Photographic and there's also Mr Cad. Google is your friend.

hmmm... I really like the Mr Cad and Grays Of Westminster thank you Tobers and Carl V

Chiswick Camera Centre is just down the road from me...

www.chiswickcameras.co.uk/

...they seem to have a reasonable selection of camera bodies and lenses when I've been in, but compared to the bargains you can get here on TP, they're pretty expensive.

I always use Chiswick Camera Centre. They are generally competitive on price and very helpful whenever I've been in there.

Mr Cad - Croydon (west) Very good i hear and although i go shopping nearly every Sat in Croydon I have never been!!

There is another good Camera shop in South Croydon not far from the Croydon fly over. Very reasonable prices.

I can highly recommend Sendean Cameras in between Dean St and Wardour in Soho. They have loads of 2nd hand gear and give it all a full service before it's sold so they give everything a 1 yr warranty (even the 30 year old rangefinder I bought last month!)

Bear in mind that many of today's entry level/cheaper digital cameras are not built to last so it's worth getting something mid-range with decent components.

Mr Cad is wonderful to browse in for hours.

They don't really do much digital gear IME, though.

Thanks everyone for help:) I gonna visit these places this weekend

Another vote for Aperture Photographic. Where else could you get a really good cup of Java whilst drooling over a Nikon 300mm f/2?

(OK, they sold the Nikon last year. £9000 if I recall correctly. But you get the idea.)
