Without all the moral argybargy regarding Hong Kong but still including imports, who can suggest a store,online or physical, UK,HK or in my ladies chamber for the best deal? I'm talking guarantee,customer service and delivery. Which supplier gets the most ticks here?
The best I've seen are the dreaded Panamoz (HK) or UKBNS on E-bay.
Personally, I don't give a toss what's written on the package, money saving is the thing here, are Panamoz going to offer a working guarantee at that price (<£1k) or do I go for the Herts based eBay seller @ £1150?
I've mailed panamoz regarding import fees but it's too early for a reply.
I did some searching but found the moral brigade were getting uppity and the thread was closed anyway.
BTW, I've filled in my tax return, my accountant is dealing with it and I wish to pay as little as legally possible.
Anyone else happy with their A7 and m/f lenses? Sounds like a bit of a winner this one.
 
OneStopDigital have it for £1029, they guarantee no hidden import fees (but will reimburse if you get caught) but I've not used them so can't comment on customer services.

Them or Panamoz are the only genuinely cheap options as far as I can tell. As both state they will reimburse taxes/fees you could even happily declare them correctly if they arrive undervalued.

DigitalRev no longer cover import fees/VAT.
 
I got my A7R from Panamoz, the A7 was sub £1000 at the time.
 
Cheers gents, Panamoz are selling for £985 so they look like the best option. My only concern with HK buying is the returns factor if something's not right which would be time consuming to say the least.
Rob, did you pay by bank transfer perchance?
 
I've sent panamahoo an email requesting their best price for the A7 and grip, let's see what happens.
