I'm off on holiday to Little Haven, Pembrokeshire (South Wales) soon. Can anyone pass on any tips on locations + beaches that are a must see/shoot?

TIA, Terry.

Pretty much the whole coastline! Apart from Milford Haven that is. All of the beaches are wonderful (Broad Haven, Dale etc), there are the coastal paths which are great and even the castle in Haverfordwest! Little Haven itself is very nice. I really need to go back, my fathers family are from the area but I haven't been for quite a few years now!

Have a look at my thread. http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=259767
A lovely location for togging is St Brides Bay to Marloes. Also if you have a look at my flickr page you will see quite a few pictures of the area on there. Have a lovely holiday in my neck of the woods.

Just got back a couple of weeks ago. Dale is beautiful but the best bit of it is the bay just before. There's a parking place here

and you need to walk left along the beach. You'll come to where the river meets and there are stepping stones and a bridge across the river, plus there's a large stone Dam to the left that's just beautiful.

This is at that beach

Little Haven and Broad haven are beautiful but very steep hills in and out. Follow the coast road north towards Nolton Haven and Druids Haven there's a small track down to the beach which is really worth a visit. There's an eco house set into the hillside, plus if you walk northwards up the beach there's a couple of large caves, one of which you can walk all they way through and out the other side.

There's a garden centre/crafts place at Roch with an excellent gallery of local photographers, some superb photo's plus another insight of where to shoot. On a plus the small cafe there is known for great food.

St Davids is worth a visit and of course drive through Marloes towards Skomer as there's a National Trust carpark at the end and you can walk the coatsline to see the seals and their new born pups.

Oh and stunning sunrises/sunsets.

Have fun.
