Hi all. I am thinking of making my own Xmas cards this year using my own images. The question is - what is the best paper for this? I have a Canon Pixma Pro-1 inkjet printer. Should I go for matt or gloss finish? 300gsm or lighter? Make, model, etc......any advice would be gratefully accepted!! Cheers....

I just got some Ilford Galerie Smooth Lustre Duo for mine, has a lustre finish on BOTH sides and can be written on too if you want.

I recommend the card sold by Ian Barber. Although this page only shows aquare format, if you e-mail him he will send landscape format. It comes with envelopes, will arrive tomorrow, and prints superbly. Ian is a member of this forum.
