Brief background:
I have an odd case scenario where I have a Polaroid SX-70 and can mount 37mm threaded (auxiliary) lenses and filters to the front it.
The 37mm thread is fairly common with camcorders and I know this is a photography forum but I thought you guys would have more knowledge on this.
My question:
I’m after the best quality auxiliary teleconverter, of any strength with, ideally, a 37mm thread. If I increase the mounting thread size I’d need to get a step up lens which I’m not sure if it would cause vignetting? Also it needs to have a front thread (so the Sony lenses that I’ve seen are out of the pickings).
Most of the lenses I’ve seen seem to be cheap Chinese no brand or rebrands of the same lens.
