Best Guitar Hero Style game

I'm thinking of getting a Guitar hero style game for the family (ie for me) for Christmas. There's a few alternatives, what is the best one? I've got a wii and a ps3.

clue is in the title

probably guitar hero 2 as it has freebird by lynrd skynrd
but GH4 (world tour) has drums etc but is £150 with all the instruments, or about £70 with the guitar

tbh i've never used it, but if it doesnt have Freebird on it then it cant be as good as guitar hero

Has anybody tried both? I'm trying to decide which is better, particularly for younger kids to be able to join in?

Rock Band 2 - much much better! Loads of downloadable content, the ability to turn fails off if you have young kids involved, its great!

Is that on the PS3? I can only find it on XBox360...
