hi all.
im fairly new to digital photography and really struggle with pp. ive read a few tutorials on here and although they are very good, they dont really cater for the pp novice. are there any books or guides that can be recommended for noobs like myself?
I have elements 7 and the only pp i know how to do is cropping, converting to b&w, adjusting contrast and removing blemishes and adding the pre-loaded effects. that kind of basic stuff.
when i read threads and it gets on the subject with Layers etc it goes over my head
should i just get myself Elements for Dummies?
im starting a degree course in photography in september and dont want to be too far behind the other students regarding PP.
