best free stock images website? hi-res?

I am trying to practice some post editing using Photoshop but can't find a good diverse website with hi-res stock images(size around 1024 - may use 800 if theres nothing else). Would like portriats of men/women, landscapes/city, cars, etc. Thanks in advance.

there's some free / personal use stock on deviantart too.

For Photoshop practice, I've used sample photos taken with the review cameras at http://www.dpreview.com/

They're copyrighted of course, so you mustn't reproduce them anywhere.
