hi,

I'm working towards the goal of printing and selling fine art photography prints.

These will be art nudes, like Man Ray's photo of woman as violin (Le violon d'Ingres).

So the following questions are running around my head at the moment. Can anyone offer some expert advice?

1. Which UK printing firm offers the best balance between quality and cheapness? I mean giclee or equivalent prints.

2. In the genre of art nude, what format (size) do collectors tend to buy?

3. What's the best mailing solution? Rolled in a tube or laid flat?

Thanks for your help.

giclee is just a poncy name for inkjet

size normally would be a3 or above

DSCL do large inkjet prints

prints would be cheaper to send as roll and would be less likely to be damaged too

In answer to question 3, I find that fine art nudes are best laid flat

and to no.2...

I tend to find hot mounted in a hard bed press....
