Yes
Stated as above:D

Sorry to be adding to another of those "best place" things, but I have just finished my first ever 2 rolls of slide film (Fujichrome Sensia 36exp!) I was wondering what others views are on the best/cheapest place to get it developed and mounted on slides (and possibly get prints too?)

I usually go to bayeux for normal color reversal, but it would cost quite a bit more than my local snappy snaps for slide film! I was just wondering if there is another "pro" studio that does it for a cheaper price!

also, if already mounted, how hard/costly would it be to go and get prints made at a later date? -if costly or difficult, I will have it done with developing in that case:D

cheers in advance, have a  on me;):D!

Isn't it developed ina machine anyways so does it matter who you develop with?

I usually get ma C41 stuff done for £3 at snappy snaps and then scan in the negatives.

Not sure about printing though.

I'd just go to snappy snaps in Wardour Street. It's near to you, they've never scratched a neg or anything, and provided the chemicals are fresh (ought to be, they get quite a bit of traffic through) E6 developing is E6 developing...

Cheers! will be using them in the future, but I happened to be down by the "new" (well, re-branded) jessops down Tottenham Court Rd, so I thought id give em a try.

strange thing is, when I asked in that snappy snaps about price, they said £6 per film, no prints, no slide mounting:thinking: confused me as I was sure it was £3! next time.

I have masses of slide mounts, but I want to get myself a film splicer (with magnifying glass and light box) I can scan in before hand too:D!

cheers for help;)

and if you ever are in the area, you can always send me a message before hand, after college I am free to go togging (and 'in) daily:lol:!

I used to process my own E6 film. Happy days!

eek! that sounds like a daunting task to me! I am used to B&W developing only....

on an unrelated note, I read a while back on TP about dev'ing E6 film as C-41 process to get weirdo colors. im quite interested in getting that done at some point.

It's called Cross Processing if you want to search Flickr for details.

ah cheers! always wondered what that ment....

*nuns away to avoid embarasment*
