best CF card photo recovery software (for mac)

my CF card blew up and i lost a lot of important photos.
I eventually got my card reader to recognise it again, but i couldnt recover the photos i wanted (all shot in RAW).
I tried PhotoRescue3

anyone know of any (much) better ones?
bearing in mind this card is pretty buggered.

I have a couple of copies of rescuepro 3.2 free with sandisk cards. I'll pop one in the post if it will help.

I use Media medic (from calumet, i think). Can be really good but sometimes doesn't pick up the files you want on the first pass but may pick them up on subsequent scans...(!)

Yeah, another two years later again.
Maybe the problem has already solved. Haha...
Another solution, using Kvisoft Data Recovery for Mac to do CF card data recovery.
