Hi all,

I am a total newb when it comes to using Adobe LR3, can anyone suggest the best book to help me navigate my way through.

Many Thanks

Andy

I would suggest two authors, Martin Evening and Scot Kelby. My personal preference is for Martin Evening. But either would be a good bet

As well as the Evening and Kelby books (I also prefer Martin Evening) I'd also recommend Victoria Bampton's Lightroom 3: The Missing FAQ. It's not really a hold-your-hand guide but it's pretty damn useful for those situations where you may want to do something that's not run-of-the-mill.

Received my copy earlier this week of Victoria Bampton's book. I have been quite impressed with it so far, but the good thing is you also get a pdf copy which is great to use on my second screen!

I used both authors offerings re CS3 - well worth the investment; so wanting to try LR3 I'm currently using Martin Evenings 'Photoshop Lightroom 3 Book' which is proving invaluable..
Suspect I will supplement it with the Scott Kelby LR3 book in due course - as Chappers has said - with either/both authors it will be money well spent..

I am using the Kelby book... Very thorough... Easy to read.. Learning lots....

Thanks guys.

I have ordered both Martin Evening and Scot Kelby's books off Amazon, you save so much, both books for £37.

I will also take a look at Julianne Kost's Video tutorials.
