... This little fella looks like a pretty sound alternative for the dude/dudess that like to sport the latest in fashion/tech and takes the odd snap too.

From the little I've seen around the web, there is hope to think that sony may have actually made a teeny sensor that can cope with that many pixies. Time will tell I guess but if I had to put money on someone making a half decent camera/phone it would be those clever little bods at SE. :)

That's all very well Daz ... :shrug: ... if you just want a camera that can make phone calls ... :suspect: ... it doesn't do all the other stuff the iPhone does and it certainly isn't anywhere near as sexy ... ;)


That said I have also got a SE K800i and think it's a brill bit of kit for what it gives me so I am certainly not knocking the manufacturer ... :D

my girls both have Lg viewtys and I can only wonder at how LG have made such a wonderful phone they even have an interface that can mimic the iphone and a 5mp camera....it looks a little like the new sony.
 
Even if it takes 80millions pixels, It will be high res, but a mess of high res. I still use my 30D instead.

As you know I love a bit of crunchy appley goodness myself and I'm a little tempted to move over to the iPhone but I can't see that it does much that the little sweede doesn't. Is some ways with the SE having full phone type functions like MMS and full bluetooth, it's more versatile. :shrug:

Life's full of tough decisions eh. :lol:

It's obviously never going to replace a real camera but if the test shots on the web are actually from the phone, it's a tad impressive..... for a phone of course. The idea that you can have a small phone that (in good light) can produce a file fit for an A3 print is nothing short of sillyness....... in a good way. :):)
 
I have a 5mp Viewty and was terribly disappointed with the camera. Nice camera, nice lens, LOUSY processing!
