I'm currently looking at beauty dish's for my recently purchased Elinchrom lights.

I'm just wondering what everyones preferences are on colour, do you prefer white or silver for your dish?

I find that a white finish generally gives a wider more even but less punchy output - if I intended to do more outdoor stuff then I might go for a silver finish for better control. As always it really depends on the end result you are aiming for.

Try this Profoto page where near the bottom it shows/discusses the differences - of course in reality you'd need both.
