(19th May) - having researched what's not on the haunted goldfish bowl tonight, I spotted this -

"German-born fashion photographer Erwin Blumenfeld shot many Vogue covers, but he was also an artistic pioneer, using techniques that the likes of Man Ray would make famous.

His private life was complicated, however, as this documentary, narrated by Erin O’Connor, reveals. And the increasing conflict between his family and his young mistress has meant it’s taken decades for his work — which is still astonishing — to be properly recognised.

ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
Documentary on the life and work of influential photographer Erwin Blumenfeld, who captured countless iconic Hollywood images including Audrey Hepburn in mirrors, Marlene Dietrich draped in fox fur, and Grace Kelly in a gold picture frame. The story is told through Blumenfeld's fashion-films, home movies and self-portraits, and features interviews with family members and the industry's luminaries, who help to explain his mysterious death and examine how his meticulous pursuit of beauty in stills contrasted with a poignant unease about his own self-image"
