BBC2 Arts Night - Photography

Ooh. Always nice to watch a bit of TV about photography. Thanks for the link.
 
Just watched it. Incredibly good. There's not enough stuff about photography on TV these days. I hope the BBC commission more programmes of this kind.

It was reassuring to hear him talk about his keeper rate. 450 shots in a day. 30 or 40 on the first pass. 1 or 2 that might be "any good."

I've read a lot of criticism of Parr of late. I don't get it.

Vanley Burke has had too little exposure within the UK (IMO) - he deserves more.

An excellent showcase for British talent.
 
Very good. Different photographers approaches are always interesting to see and hear. Made me want to go and take photos!

I recorded this and have only just got round to watching it.
I enjoyed the program very much, excellent coverage of some excellent photographers and work.
Would love to see more of this type of program.

Indeed. I often check Sky Arts 1 and 2 and very, very rarely owt on photography :(
 
Will have to use a proxy server if I want to see it here (currently in nz). Hopefully it will pop up in the iplayer archives at a future date.
