Not sure it is age discrimination - Blast is programming aimed at teenagers and as such it does state that you have to be between the age of 13 and 19 to enter, not 25.
The rule regarding allowing licensing of the image could haver perhaps been written more clearly than it is, but I believe they have attempted to make it clear that the photographs submitted will only be published (online or elsewhere) for the purposes of the competition.
Still it could be read another way, and anyone entering may wish to seek clarification on that.

Can it be any sports shot or just a portrait?! The title is a bit funny "Focus on Sport: Action Portrait Competition"
Then later on it says We are challenging you to take a photograph that captures the action of your favourite sport . Nothing about a portrait?! Hmmm

Not sure on that one, it does recommend taking a look at the national portrait gallery website for inspiration, however if you try the searches they recommend, nothing comes up.
Shame they didnt check to see if there were an inspirational portraits before they posted that.
